One-year-old plants are budwood grafted on rough orange rootstock, staked and planted in citra-pots. ALL CITRUS IS GREENHOUSE GROWN. Please take care to acclimate your baby trees to their new environment. Protect from full sun and begin exposing trees to sun gradually. Water daily - even if you think you shouldn't. If you are in a very hot area, please protect from sun until the plant is of a mature size.

I would rather not sell to people in desert-like or desert areas. If you buy a citrus tree, please be sure it can survive in your area.

Australian finger limes, also known as "Caviar Citrus" are an unusual variety of citrus and perhaps one of the most fascinating available today. The fruit is oblong juicy capsules bursting with intense, lemon-lime flavor. Unlike most fruit trees, finger limes begin to bear fruit in their second year of life.

Red Finger limes, botanically classified as Citrus australasica, are very small, uniquely-shaped fruits that are classified as microcitrus and belong to the Rutaceae family. Native to Australia, Red Finger limes are naturally occurring, and there are many different varieties including Blunobia, Pink Crystal, Sanguinea, Judy’s Everbearing, and Pink Ice. Historically, Red Finger limes have been foraged in the wild and command a high price due to their limited availability and difficulty to harvest, but there has been a movement in the last decade to expand commercial production to meet increasing demand. Red Finger limes are gaining global recognition among gourmet chefs for their circular, crisp pearls, tangy flavor, and bright coloring. They are commonly used as a natural pop of flavor for both savory and sweet culinary dishes and a favored for their unusual texture.

Dwarf Citrus trees considered "Patio Citrus" size. Trees are not large like other citrus trees. Trees are grafted on hardy root stock and suitable for growth in Zone 8 and higher.

Additional Info DO YOU GUARANTEE YOUR PLANTS?
We guarantee we will ship a healthy plant. There is no guarantee that your plant will survive and thrive in your space. Plants are living and perishable things. They require proper environment and care. Happy plants don't happen by accident.

We choose the healthiest plants in our inventory to ship to our customers. Once a plant is delivered to you it is beyond our control. We can no longer care for the plant, so you will have to, in order to keep it happy and healthy.

We are familiar with all the plants we sell. We grow from seed and cuttings. We propagate from mother and stock plants. Some plants are grafted. If you are having an issue with your plant, contact us so we can help with any issues at an early stage.

I RECEIVED MY PLANT BUT IT DIED SEVERAL DAYS LATER. CAN I GET A REFUND OR REPLACEMENT?
No. Once a plant is in your possession, it must be cared for by you. Care includes WATERING your plant. With the except of succulents, potted plants must be watered daily, especially in warm months.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY PLANT?
We include care sheets for most plants. These are general guidelines.

Please Google care tips for your plant in your zone.

If you fail to heed the advice given, or do not research care for your plant, your plant may fail to thrive. Happy plants don't happen by accident.

I LIVE IN A HOT AREA WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES, WILL MY PLANT THRIVE HERE?
An unwatered plant in a container in the sun can die within 24 hours. The smaller the container, the more often water is needed.

Please do not order rare and/or expensive plants without researching if it will do well in your zone and what care your plant may need. I have no way of knowing about your climate, whether or not you're an experienced gardener, if you have a greenhouse or not, or how you intend to care for your plant.

Most people will not take greenhouse grown plants and then place them in the hot sun all day without watering. Unfortunately, some people do this and expect a refund after they've killed the plant. We are not here to fund your gardening attempts. Our plants are geared more towards experienced gardeners.

SHOULD POTTED PLANTS BE WATERED DAILY?
You should check potted plants daily in warm, dry conditions.

In summer, watering outdoor potted plants is necessary daily (and even twice a day) for most species, especially when temperatures reach over 85 degrees.

Watering PROPERLY is important. Proper watering means soaking the entire rootball. It doesn't mean wetting the leaves. It also doesn't mean waiting until the soil is dry.
